You learn what to look out for and how to make an answer understandable. This way, what you learn during your first months immediately gains meaning: for you, for the client, and for the employee seeking clarity.

As a Junior Consultant Payroll Services, you will learn all the theoretical components of the field during your first months and subsequently put them into practice at Baker Tilly. Under guidance, you help process and check salary and personnel data. For example, you investigate what a collective labor agreement (CAO) change means for the payroll administration and support in answering client questions. What you do not yet know, you discuss with a colleague. Step by step, you discover how the different components of payroll are interconnected.

With a question that also touches upon HR, Finance, or payroll taxes, you, as a Junior Consultant Payroll Services, observe how experienced colleagues arrive at an answer. Which rules apply? And when is the knowledge of a colleague from Employment Advisory or payroll taxes needed? In this way, you recognize subjects from your studies in your daily work and learn when you can proceed on your own and when to call for help.

You want to understand how a salary is determined and what is required for that. You work carefully and ask questions if you cannot yet explain something.

• You have 0 to 2 years of relevant work experience; you can also start without work experience.

• You have a completed MBO or HBO education that relates to payroll.

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, so that you can clearly understand data and questions.
