As a Senior Consultant Tax Advisory, you help entrepreneurs with tax questions. You investigate what they want to achieve and translate complex issues into practical advice that fits their plans.
Want to become a Senior Consultant Tax Advisory at Baker Tilly too? Read below to see if it suits you!
As a Senior Consultant Tax Advisory, you advise entrepreneurs and organizations on complex tax issues and support them in important strategic choices. You delve into the tax consequences of investments, business successions, restructurings, and changes in corporate structures. In doing so, you look beyond laws and regulations alone: you understand the client's objectives, map out opportunities and risks, and translate complex tax matters into clear, practical advice.
You are responsible for drafting and developing tax advice in areas such as corporate income tax, personal income tax, and other national tax issues. Based on your expertise, you think proactively about optimizations and identify new advisory opportunities that align with the client's ambitions.
Within the team, you fulfill an important substantive role. You guide and coach junior consultants, review analyses, tax returns, and advisory memos, and actively contribute to the further development of colleagues. At the same time, you safeguard the quality of the work and act as a sparring partner for managers and other tax specialists.
Many tax issues touch upon multiple disciplines. Therefore, you regularly collaborate with colleagues from Audit, Advisory, and Corporate Finance. By connecting knowledge and providing integrated advice, you make a valuable contribution to the growth and development of companies.
At the Den Bosch office, you work in a dedicated team that also maintains close contact with colleagues at other offices. The workspaces and meeting rooms are designed so that you can easily meet with different departments. Looking at a tax question from multiple perspectives? You seek each other out and bring insights together. That collaboration goes hand in hand with a personal sense of teamwork.
You are given the freedom and trust to take responsibility in advisory processes, to further expand your professional expertise, and to guide colleagues in their development. In doing so, you can always rely on the knowledge of experienced managers and specialists within Baker Tilly. This allows you to combine the personal involvement of a regional practice with the expertise of a national network. Naturally, we also invest in your growth, so you can continue to build the professional and personal development that matches your ambitions.
You have completed a university degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics;
You are pursuing the NOB training (or have already completed it);
You have a good command of the Dutch language, so you can explain tax considerations clearly;
You can translate complex tax analyses into practical advice that fits the client;
You have at least 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in tax practice.
Fortunately, we are all different. Working at Baker Tilly means working for an employer that realizes our differences are exactly what make us stronger. Have we made you enthusiastic about this position, but are you still doubting if it suits you sufficiently? Then certainly contact one of our recruiters. We would love to hear from you.
