What we're looking for
- HBO/University level of working and thinking
- At least 5 years of experience with setting up and maintaining quality systems and procedures according to IFS/BRC standards
- Works independently, takes ownership, and switches easily between policy and practice
- Strong analytical ability and capable of distinguishing main issues from secondary issues
- Result-oriented: quickly translates analyses into concrete deliverables and actually completes actions
- Proactive and continuously focused on improving and professionalizing
- Communicates clearly and effectively with various stakeholders.
- Excellent command of the Dutch language, both orally and in writing
The role
As a QA - Specialist, you play a central role in further developing, managing, and continuously improving the Aviko quality system. You ensure that our organization demonstrably complies with laws and regulations and current certification standards.
In addition, you are an important driver and sparring partner in the field of food safety within Aviko. You support the organization with expertise, projects, and advice and actively contribute to strengthening our food safety culture, both nationally and internationally.
What you'll do
In this role, the focus lies on risk management, quality management systems, and food safety projects. Your activities consist of, among other things:
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing the Aviko quality system, with a focus on risk and quality management.
- Initiating, supporting, and executing food safety related projects within the organization.
- Setting up, executing, and further professionalizing hygiene inspections.
- Advising on an ad-hoc basis regarding hygienic design for processes, installations, and changes.
- Answering questions and supporting colleagues from within the organization in the field of quality and food safety.
- Active contribution to the Food Safety Culture Program and making concrete improvement proposals.
- Safeguarding knowledge, acting as a back-up, and contributing to knowledge building within Corporate Quality Assurance.
