The role

Do you want to contribute to the quality and food safety of products eaten daily by consumers all over the world? As a QA Engineer at Lamb Weston in Kruiningen, you will ensure that our quality management system is continuously improved and that we continue to meet the highest requirements regarding quality, food safety, laws and regulations, and customer standards.

What you'll do

As a QA Engineer, you are an important link between Quality Assurance and the production organization. You monitor and optimize the quality management system (QMS) and translate developments in laws and regulations, certifications, customer requirements, and audit findings into concrete improvements.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Managing, maintaining, and continuously improving the quality management system, including ISO and HACCP.
  • Identifying developments in laws and regulations, certification, food safety, and customer standards and translating these to the organization.
  • Preparing, organizing, and conducting internal audits and guiding external audits.
  • Following up on and implementing improvement points from audits and ensuring proper safeguarding within the organization.
  • Keeping procedures, work instructions, reports, and other QA documentation up to date.
  • Keeping knowledge about food safety up to date and shared, including within the HACCP team and through training.
  • Investigating and handling complaints regarding product and process quality, in collaboration with various departments.
  • Analyzing complaints and customer feedback and translating insights into concrete improvements.
  • Monitoring the quality of laboratory tests and ensuring periodic calibration of equipment.
  • Supporting chemical and bacteriological research and providing relevant QA reports and administration.
  • Acting as a key user for QA-related applications within SAP, including traceability.
  • Training and guiding employees in the area of QA.
  • In the absence of the QA Manager, you will operationally take over a number of responsibilities and ensure the continuity of QA activities.

In this role, you will regularly be present in the production environment. As a result, you do not only work with procedures and systems, but you also actually see what is happening on the production floor and have direct contact with colleagues in production and other disciplines.

What you bring

You are analytical, accurate, and know how to translate quality issues into practical solutions. You find it interesting to understand processes, recognize risks, and actually implement improvements together with colleagues.

What do we offer you?

At Lamb Weston, you will get the space to make an impact on quality and food safety within a dynamic production environment. You will work together with colleagues from QA, production, and other disciplines and receive plenty of opportunities to further develop yourself.

You can count on:

  • A challenging QA role with a lot of responsibility and room for own initiative.
  • An international working environment within an organization that is constantly in motion.
  • The opportunity to contribute directly to improvements in quality, food safety, and processes.
  • Collaboration with various disciplines and stakeholders within the plant and beyond.
  • Room for personal and professional development.

Ready to make an impact?
