• From the regional office, you guide the tenders and coordinate the (re)construction of the stores in the region.
• Under the guidance of the Manager Construction & Real Estate, you make agreements with external parties, such as installers, suppliers, and manufacturers.
• In consultation with the various disciplines within the Construction and Real Estate department, you conduct preliminary research into innovations and optimizations of the Lidl construction standard.
• You obviously do not do all of this from behind your desk; as the operational contact person for all involved contractors, you are frequently on location, and you naturally also participate in construction meetings.
• It is typically a job in which you see lasting and tangible results of your work, develop little sedentary time, and are constantly presented with new challenges

Lidl is constantly looking for new store locations and the optimization of the existing store portfolio. We are looking for a driven construction professional who, with his/her strong project management skills and thorough technical construction knowledge, will be a valuable addition to the existing team.

At our Construction & Real Estate department, various colleagues work both at the head office and in the six regions to realize as optimal a store portfolio as possible. The Construction and Real Estate team at the regional office in Almere is responsible for the portfolio of approx. 70 Lidl branches, real estate acquisition, construction coordination, real estate management, and facility services. As a construction project manager, you are responsible for the execution of various (re)construction projects from the regional office in Almere. You do not only manage construction contractors, but also various installers and advisors. In doing so, you safeguard the Lidl construction standard and manage quality, planning, and cost control.
