Finance Commercial Internship in Amsterdam

Your new job and workplace.
As an intern, you will work alongside the Business Controllers at Etos. The Business Control department is managed by the CFO, which gives you great insight into the (financial) management of one of the largest drugstore chains in the Netherlands. The challenges and tasks you will encounter are diverse and offer plenty of room for your own initiative, such as:

• Performing analyses to ensure the Commercial departments function optimally.
• Aligning analyses with the business.
• Optimizing existing processes within the Finance department.
• Supporting business control in the Management Control Cycle (Budget + Forecasting).

Your teammates are the other Business Controllers, and you will have a lot of coordination with commercial colleagues. As an intern in the Business Control team at Etos, you will get the chance to gain experience in the Finance field, work on a wide variety of financial issues, and make a direct impact on the business. Among other things, you will perform analyses to manage and support the business as effectively as possible. This involves retrieving data from various stakeholders, analyzing, visualizing, and of course, sharing these analyses with the business.
