The role
Are you looking for a place where you can be part of a small but wonderful team? For our KDV, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Pedagogical Staff Member (VE) who works with love and attention with the very youngest. Together, we ensure a safe, warm, and trusted environment in which children can develop at their own pace. With us, you will get the space to use your talents and truly be part of a close-knit team. We value personal attention, collaboration, and enjoyment in the work. Do you love variety? Then a combination between different groups within our location is also possible. This way, you can use your talents in multiple places and no two days are the same.
About the location
Kinderdagverblijf Westendorp is a small-scale, warm place in the heart of Amsterdam Nieuw-West, in the Fiep Westendorp broad school. Children can spend their entire childhood here and will later transition seamlessly to primary school and BSO. Every day is an outdoor play day in our adventurous nature garden, and indoors there is space for a healthy, warm lunch and creativity with materials from the garden.
We are a VVE location using the _Uk & Puk_ method and work from De Vreedzame School, where social coexistence is central. Thanks to our small scale, there is extra attention for every child.
Are you looking for a place where you can be part of a small but wonderful team? Within our VE group, you will work with passion on the development of young children and create a rich learning environment in which language, social skills, and motor skills grow through play. Do you love variety? Then you can also participate in other groups - this way no two days are the same and you can use your talents broadly.
