You operate within a project or matrix organization and switch between operational management and tactical thinking regarding the direction of the department.

As Teamlead Electrical Engineering, you are responsible for the daily management and development of our Electrical Engineering team. You lead approximately 12 engineers - at our locations in IJmuiden and Houten - who work on electrotechnical systems within complex energy projects. You are not technically responsible for every design, but you are responsible for the quality, structure, and performance of the team that makes them. Your activities include:

• Managing, coaching, and developing Electrical Engineers.

• Monitoring capacity, planning, and priorities within projects.

• Ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with standards and guidelines.

• Identifying and resolving bottlenecks in processes and collaboration.

• Coordinating with project management, commissioning, and operations.

• Contributing to the standardization and improvement of engineering methods.

• Conducting performance reviews and development discussions.

• Reporting on progress and performance to management.

You are technically proficient, but your strength lies in leadership.
