Pay & benefits

What you'll get

We love clarity: the salary range for this position is €4,750 to €7,500 (final grading depends on your knowledge and experience). Additionally, you will receive a mobility allowance that you may use in a green and responsible way (for example, by choosing an electric lease car).

Furthermore, you can count on all the basics being perfectly arranged. Think of a good lunch, a fast MacBook, phone, an excellent pension scheme, and smooth salary and expense processing.

But that is far from everything! What truly sets us apart is our way of working:

The role

In the world of software development, a strong architecture is the foundation for success. As a Software Architect with us, you are the one who provides direction to the technical future of our platform (CORD). You work on the long-term strategy, translate complex requirements into robust designs, and make high-level decisions that are decisive for the quality and stability of our product.

You are involved in improving and optimizing the platform, shaping coding standards, and monitoring quality assurance, and you take a leading role within the development team. As a Software Architect, you do limited coding yourself: your focus lies on vision, architecture, and technical leadership. Translating requirements into technical design and making decisions at a higher level on the platform is also part of this.

Furthermore, you are primarily responsible for making the architecture scalable (with an emphasis on the new version), performance, security, and manageability. Together with the Team Lead, you bear responsibility for mentoring, evaluations, and the development of colleagues. You work directly with the Team Lead and developers, and indirectly with consultants, IT specialists, and solution architects.

In short: are you an experienced Software Architect who wants to make an impact on the technical course of a growing platform? Then this is your chance to leave your mark on a product that touches thousands of users.

What’s in it for you?

  • You may be completely yourself and do not need to conform to a certain image or stereotype. We like to see you as you are.

  • You are offered all the space and opportunities to grow and learn. Together we will search for your talents and develop them further.

  • You largely determine for yourself where and when you work. We believe in a good work-life balance, so we help you to set up your home working environment well and responsibly. But we go further: you can even work remotely from your favorite holiday destination with us!

  • You can participate in many fun activities with colleagues. For example, we have a company trip or a Hackathon every two years, a Cultural FriYay every month, and regularly other (sporty, interesting, educational) events.

  • And if you want to take a break at the office, you can always challenge your colleague to a game of darts, table football, or table tennis. Or you can grab the Yellowtail office bike for a ride around Naarderbos!
