The role
System Architect Embedded Computing Systems
If you're passionate about shaping cutting-edge solutions and serving as the strategic link between our customers and development teams, we invite you to join our Embedded Computing Systems team.
You will be responsible for defining and owning the architecture of complex, high-end products for demanding applications in the semiconductor, medical, and technology sectors. You translate business and customer requirements into scalable, future-proof technical solutions, ensuring alignment between product vision, system performance, and technical execution. Acting as the technical lead across multidisciplinary teams, you drive architectural decisions, establish clear specifications, and guide implementation from concept through realization. You facilitate design reviews, challenge technical assumptions, and resolve cross-functional engineering challenges while maintaining a holistic view of the product. By proactively identifying technical risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, you ensure the development of robust, reliable, and innovative systems that deliver long-term value to customers and the business.
What you'll do
Translate customer, regulatory and business requirements into system-level requirements and design input
Develop robust system architectures that meet all product, regulatory, and performance requirements
Define and drive the system validation strategy, both by design and testing
Drive cross-functional alignment between system, hardware, software and mechanical engineering teams
Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned across engineering disciplines
Lead system-level risk management activities, including DFMEA development
Own the system-level test plan and specifications; contribute to and review validation execution
