Pay & benefits

What you'll get

We value clarity: the salary range for this position is between €3,000 and €4,200, depending on your knowledge and experience. Additionally, you will receive an appropriate mobility allowance.

Furthermore, you can count on all the basics being well arranged. Think of a catered lunch, a laptop and phone, a good pension scheme, and smooth salary and expense processing.

The role

Do you want to combine your analytical skills with commercial insight and work with the largest investment banks in the world? At Fortrum Conclusion, you will build client relationships, discover opportunities for new projects, and connect clients with our specialist teams. Together with the Director and experienced colleagues, you will develop your commercial and financial knowledge.

What you'll do

As a Junior/Medior New Business Consultant, you will further expand existing client relationships. You will delve into the challenges of clients and, together with the Director and specialist experts, translate opportunities into concrete proposals for new projects.

You are the connecting link between our teams and clients, including some of the largest international investment banks. You maintain an overview, bring the right people together, and ensure that agreements and expectations are clear.

You work closely with the Director: you prepare client meetings together, discuss commercial considerations, and develop proposals. Experienced colleagues will guide you regarding the financial content and our due diligence approach. You will receive feedback and can brainstorm with them. As a starter, you will build independence step by step; with relevant experience, you will take on your own client relationships and projects sooner. Together, we will discuss which next steps suit your development.

You work from Naarden, from home, and at client locations both domestically and abroad.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Recognizing and developing opportunities for new projects with existing clients;

  • Maintaining and deepening client relationships;

  • Developing client inquiries and commercial proposals together with the Director and specialist experts;

  • Coordinating the collaboration between clients and our teams and monitoring agreements;

  • Maintaining the sales pipeline and following up on commercial opportunities;

  • Coordinating international client projects and contributing to on-site due diligence activities;

  • Establishing new contacts, for example during congresses and trade fairs.

What do we ask of you?

You combine analytical insight with commercial sense and an interest in the financial sector. You are curious about what occupies clients, take initiative, and provide structure. You can develop specialist market knowledge with us.

We are open to Master's graduates and candidates with relevant experience in, for example, consultancy, financial services, business development, or relationship management.

You handle confidential information with care and are prepared to provide a valid certificate of conduct (VOG) or similar integrity document within six weeks of employment, and again if a future assignment requires it.

What do we offer you?

But that is far from everything. What truly sets us apart is our way of working:

  • You learn directly from the Director and experienced colleagues, with guidance that aligns with your development goals;

  • You gain more independence and responsibility as you grow;

  • You work for leading financial institutions, also internationally;

  • You largely determine for yourself where and when you work, with attention to a healthy work-life balance;

  • You participate in knowledge sessions, events, and informal activities with colleagues;

  • And if you want to relax at the office in between, there is plenty of space for that.

Interested?

Do you want to develop at the intersection of financial services, commerce, and client relationships? And develop new projects for international investment banks together with experienced colleagues?

Then we would love to meet you.
