Transit architect

Role description:
As a (medior) architect within Transit Architecture, you are part of multidisciplinary project teams and shape a sustainable living environment. You work on projects throughout the Netherlands and possibly abroad as well. You know how to clearly articulate, visualize, and translate your vision into qualitative and feasible solutions. You analyze the client's requirements and, together with stakeholders, map out the demands and wishes. Subsequently, together with experienced architects, you develop a concept design, further develop it technically, and bring it to life visually. You work on the renovation and new construction of train and metro stations, but also on diverse design tasks such as cultural heritage, urban area developments, multifunctional buildings, and the spatial integration and design of bridges, tunnels, and other infrastructural artworks.

• You independently manage (sub)projects and ensure they are realized within the agreed planning, quality, and financial frameworks;
• You develop architectural design solutions and elaborate them in drawings, reports, and other project documentation;
• You work closely with clients, project leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to realize integral and qualitative solutions;
• You monitor the quality of designs and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, standards, and Arcadis guidelines;
• You guide and coach junior colleagues and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of the team.

You feel comfortable in an environment where design, technology, and stakeholder management converge. Knowledge of design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is not a must but is valuable, as is your registration in the Architectenregister.
