Requirements

What we're looking for

MBO level 4 diploma in Electrotechnics, Industrial Automation, or similar
Demonstrable experience as a lead technician within infrastructure technology or industrial installations, involving control and security systems
Experience in leading technicians or the ambition to take this step
Knowledge of NEN 1010, NEN 3140, and NEN-EN 50110
In possession of VCA VOL and driving license B
Residing in the Randstad (Amsterdam - Rotterdam - Utrecht triangle)
You are practically minded, strong in communication, work in a structured manner, and have an eye for safety and quality

Nice to have

Experience with control and security systems in tunnels, bridges, or locks is a plus

The role

As a Lead Electrotechnical Technician, you will work on the renovation of bridges, tunnels, locks, and flood defenses. You will coordinate and perform electrotechnical activities with a focus on controls and security systems. You will lead a team of technicians and participate in the work on-site yourself. This is how you ensure quality, safety, and progress.

What will you do?

Leading and supervising a team of 3 to 4 electrical technicians
Coordinating assembly activities within BSK and tunnel renovations
Pulling and connecting cables and wiring for control cabinets
Installing and testing new control and security systems
Performing and supervising FAT and FIT testing
Supervising the quality, safety, and progress of the work
Coordinating with project management, engineers, and other involved parties
Identifying and resolving technical bottlenecks
Participating in execution as a working foreman
