EPLAN Engineer

As an EPLAN Engineer, you design electrical schematics in EPLAN for infrastructural installations. You translate requirements and specifications into actionable designs and keep documentation up to date. You develop and improve standards such as templates, macros, and libraries. You coordinate with lead engineers and other disciplines and answer technical questions from projects.

• Design, develop, and manage electrical schematics in EPLAN for infrastructural installations

• Translate requirements, specifications, and design choices into a reliable and actionable electrical design

• Prepare and manage component data, cable and terminal information, material lists, and design documentation

• Check and process changes and revisions, so that engineering remains up to date throughout the project

• Contribute to standardization by developing and improving templates, macros, and libraries

• Coordinate with lead engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, work preparation, and execution

• Assess technical questions from projects and apply your electrical engineering knowledge to practical solutions

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering quality and efficiency

• €4,160 - €5,900 gross per month based on full-time

• Direct influence on the standardization of designs (templates, macros, and libraries)

• A technical education at MBO-4 or HBO level, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or similar

• Experience with electrical design and reading and constructing electrical schematics

• Knowledge of components and relevant standards and guidelines within electrical engineering

• Accuracy and an eye for consistency between documentation and design

• Interest in standardization and improvement of the engineering process

• Collaborating with different technical disciplines suits you well

• Experience with EPLAN is a plus

• Experience within infrastructure, industrial automation, or complex technical installations is a plus
