What will you do?

As a Project Engineer, you create technical drawings of the actual situation and the setup of VDL Jansen products, as they will be assembled at the customer's site. You also ensure that orders are technically fully elaborated before they go to production. You are the link between customer requests, engineering, and execution, and you ensure that all involved departments have the correct information. Additionally, you will be involved in:

The beautiful thing about this position is that you are not an engineer who only draws, nor a production planner who only processes. You sit exactly in between and ensure that technology, customer wishes, and production come together.

• Translating customer orders into technically feasible solutions
• Checking orders for technical feasibility and completeness
• Coordinating changes with sales, engineering, planning, and production
• Providing a correct handover to production
• Monitoring the progress of ongoing orders
• Thinking along about improvements in processes and working methods
