New Product Logistics Engineer

The role

As a New Product Logistics Engineer, you work within a project team for new product introductions. By drafting and monitoring the project plan, you know exactly what the progress is and, together with colleagues, you devise solutions to get the final product to the customer on time. You are not sitting behind your screen all day, but you also go onto the production floor and liaise with customers and internal departments.

Furthermore, you are responsible for the timely and correct execution of our Engineering Change process, through which new product designs are introduced.

• You make the critical path transparent in consultation with the customer, the designers, and the project team;
• You monitor and report on the timely availability of the product design, such as drawings and bills of materials;
• You coordinate the production of critical components and report on material availability;
• You organize the review of engineering changes and you make the assessment between implementation speed, costs, and the impact on the delivery date;
• You coordinate the implementation of engineering changes in the ongoing production and the supply chain.

Your strength

• You possess a HBO/WO degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or similar;
• You possess good organizational and interpersonal skills and you are able to take the lead in a complex process with various players;
• You have several years of relevant work experience in a (high-tech) production environment, e.g., as a planner;
• You are hands-on, assertive, and result-oriented;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages
