What we're looking for

You have a vmbo basis/kader diploma or a level 1 entrance course diploma
You are interested in everything related to technology
You are a persevering person
You think it would be great to combine working and learning
You enjoy seeing results
You are curious and eager to learn new things during your training
You enjoy working together with others in a team environment
You live in the Netherlands and possess a valid residence permit that allows you to work and study
You speak the Dutch language sufficiently, both orally and in writing. Lessons at school are given in Dutch and good communication is also important on the work floor
You register yourself at an MBO or HBO school. VDL does not arrange this, but we are happy to think along with you and can advise you on suitable courses and schools

A look behind the scenes at

The role

For the start of the new school year in August/September 2026, we are looking for a BBL Logistics worker level 2. The duties as a logistics worker relate to the receipt, storage, picking, and preparing of goods for shipment. In short: You ensure that the right items are in the right place at the right time! You will work in our warehouse, where duties include, among other things, receiving and sending bus systems. You will be paired with an enthusiastic colleague who will teach you the trade. This way, you will also learn how to book back materials that come back from customers. Furthermore, you will learn how to arrange transports for customers. A combination of Logistics worker and Mechatronics Technician is certainly possible and open for discussion! You will work in a small team where there is attention for you, and you will do so in a clean working environment. All of this in our new building in Eersel!

The strength of VDL

During your BBL training at VDL, you will be guided by a skilled practical supervisor. You will work 4 days per week at the VDL company and go to school 1 day per week. You will arrange the registration for the BBL training yourself, of course with our help. After completing your training, we offer you the opportunity to continue your studies at one of the VDL companies or to enter permanent employment.
