Will you ensure that our security projects are technically prepared to perfection?

As a Work Preparer Security Technology at Wesotronic in Barendrecht, you will ensure that our technicians and project leaders can get to work well-prepared. You will work on diverse security installations for, among others, commercial buildings, healthcare, offices, and retail.

From fire alarm and intrusion systems to camera surveillance and access control: you ensure that materials, drawings, planning, and technical information are correct. You work closely with the project leader, but receive plenty of room to take on matters independently and think ahead.

As a Work Preparer Security Technology, you are an important link between preparation and execution. You support the project leader, maintain an overview of the progress, and ensure that everything is arranged before and while our technicians are at work.

You make calculations, prepare quotes, monitor schedules and delivery times, and check drawings and technical documentation. You also have contact with suppliers, technicians, and clients. Do you see that something can be done smarter, faster, or technically better? Then we specifically expect you to take initiative in that.

• Preparing and technically elaborating security projects;

• Making calculations and preparing quotes;

• Processing and monitoring extra and reduced work;

• Ordering materials in consultation with the warehouse and monitoring delivery times;

• Drawing up and managing project schedules;

• Checking drawings, diagrams, and technical documentation;

• Supporting the project leader during execution;

• Coordinating with technicians, suppliers, and clients.

We are primarily looking for someone who combines technical insight with an overview and a practical way of working. You enjoy organizing things well, but can also switch gears quickly if a project requires it.

In addition, you bring:

• At least an MBO 4 education in Electrical Engineering or similar. Do you not have this education, but do have extensive relevant work experience? Then we would also love to get in touch with you;

• Experience as a work preparer or in a similar technical position within security technology;

• Knowledge of StabiCAD;

• Good communication skills and a proactive work attitude;

• The motivation to further develop your technical and product knowledge through education and training;

• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.

• Broad in security technology: from fire protection and camera surveillance to intrusion detection and access control;

• Technical quality: you work together with experienced specialists within an organization with various certifications in the field of security and fire alarm installations.
