ROLE SUMMARY Maintenance Planner for Mammoet cranes € 3,400 - € 5,000 gross per month (depending on experience) Location Schiedam Our mechanics deal with the maintenance, modifications, and (ad-hoc) repairs of our equipment in Schiedam and the rest of the world. They maintain our cranes, but also, for example, our trailers, trucks, and SPMTs (Self-Propelled Modular Trailers). As a maintenance planner, you ensure that our mechanics never have to stand still. How are you going to do that? Read on quickly! WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO You translate fault reports into concrete maintenance actions; You ask the right questions regarding these reports and ensure you get to the core of the problem so that the mechanic can get to work well-prepared; You monitor the state of the fleet and take action when maintenance is required; You plan and prepare maintenance projects and ensure that these run smoothly; You inventory the necessary parts and arrange timely availability; You ensure that the required personnel and equipment are deployed as optimally as possible, including any hiring of third parties; You are in close contact with the warehouse, fellow planners, and purchasers within Mammoet, but also with external suppliers and OEMs; You request quotes, process orders in the system, make requests to the purchasing department, monitor the planning and the budget, and adjust where necessary; You keep maintenance reports and administration tidy. WHAT YOU NEED You have at least an MBO diploma in a technical direction, such as Mechanical Engineering or (Automotive) Technology; You have work experience in a similar position, preferably within the logistics, technical, or industrial sector; You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written; You love keeping multiple balls in the air at once and get energy from working under pressure; You are proactive in gathering information from multiple departments such as planning, mechanics, and customers; You communicate clearly and honestly, stand firm in your shoes, and know how to make decisions when different interests are at play.
