• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable level of work and thought, supplemented by at least 4 years of experience in a similar position and with (high-quality) new construction projects;

• You are good  at monitoring progress, drawing management, and complete data provision;

As a Site Preparer at Ballast Nedam West in Capelle aan den IJssel, you are an important link between what has been conceived in theory and how you convey this to the execution phase.

In the preparation phase, as a Site Preparer at Ballast Nedam West, you provide technical and organizational support for our large, high-quality construction projects in the South Holland region. In consultation with the project manager, you perform a project analysis. You are responsible, among other things, for the planning and the creation and checking of 3D production drawings. You also prepare more and less work overviews and independently create work estimates. You ensure that the execution is optimally supported and guarantee the timely delivery of equipment, goods, and services.

Through your technical and organizational support, you ensure that our beautiful construction projects can proceed smoothly through the preparation and execution phases! We work closely with external parties such as advisors, (permanent) partners, subcontractors, and suppliers. You connect the different parties with each other and ensure good coordination of the activities.

Of course, you do not fulfill this fun job alone. You have a nice team around you where people enjoy working together and where your colleagues are ready for you. Your team consists of, among others, fellow site preparers, the site manager, purchaser, controller, residential coach, and the project manager.
