Redacteur/ Researcher Crime (weekly ENG)

For multiple crime programs, we are looking for curious, sharp, and persistent editors/researchers with a strong affinity for crime, investigative journalism, and true stories.

You will work on multiple television programs and formats within the same genre: from detective cases and reconstructions to current crime stories and human interest. You will combine substantive research with editorial work and be involved from the initial investigation through to the filming day. In addition, you will also have the space to conduct reporting and interviews, both behind the scenes and potentially in front of the camera.

• Researching cases, persons, and backgrounds;

• Conducting preliminary conversations and interviews;

• Approaching those involved, experts, and authorities;

• Preparing filming days;

• Writing substantive briefs and storylines;

• Creating dossiers and research documents;

• Reporting on location;

• Conducting interviews, both off-camera and potentially on-camera;

• Actively contributing ideas for new stories, angles, and formats.

• You have a strong affinity with crime and journalistic storytelling;

• You are good at research and scrutinizing dossiers;

• You can work independently and take initiative;

• You communicate strongly and establish contact easily;

• You handle confidential information discreetly;

• You are flexibly deployable and do not have a 9-to-5 mentality;

• You function well within a small team with short lines;

• You can switch quickly between multiple projects at once.
