Daily True Crime Assembler

At Talpa Network, we are looking for creative and content-strong makers with a sharp sense of what is happening in the world of crime and true crime. You follow current criminal cases at home and abroad closely and know how to effortlessly translate these into original and relevant angles for a late-night program.

• You independently edit intros for TV and online;

• You contribute ideas to the editorial team and help assemble the daily show;

• You translate current developments and stories into creative items, montages, and contributions;

• You work closely with editors, producers, and editors.

As an Items Assembler, we are looking for someone who knows how to turn creative ideas into strong intros, montages, and editorial contributions. Someone who takes initiative, switches gears quickly, and gets energy from current affairs, crime stories, and entertainment.

In addition, we find it important that you enjoy thinking along about the entire production process. There is plenty of room for your own ideas, creativity, and input.

• You are up to date on everything happening online in the field of crime;

• You can work well under time pressure; deadlines are part of our work;

• You are sharp on the content of intros and items;

• Editing is something you can do in a heartbeat. You master various forms of storytelling, where image and text reinforce each other;

• You not only have an eye for your own items, but also see how they fit within the whole of a TV broadcast;

• You are a team player and are always ready to help colleagues where needed;

• You have experience with editing in AVID;

• You have experience in a similar role within a daily program;

• You work and think at an HBO level (higher professional education) and preferably have a journalistic education.
