Who are we?

HUMAN is a public media organization that chooses humanity under all circumstances. In our documentaries, investigative journalism, series and formats, on radio, television and online, we search for the unique in every person. We judge no one on origin or on the group to which someone belongs. At HUMAN, we strive for a more human society. A place where you can investigate, listen, doubt and where you truly make contact with others. In this way, we contribute to a society in which everyone is seen and heard.

As an online editor, you will be part of the Audience & Marketing department. You will report to the online team leader and work as a floater for the editorial teams of ongoing programs, short-term titles and the documentary department.

  • Professional knowledge: You have extensive experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and are skilled in editing both shortform and midform content. You know how to use existing images to make a story work online and can also shoot footage independently when the production requires it.

  • Content compass: You are able to quickly recognize the essence of a documentary or program and translate this into relevant social media content. You understand how content, target audience and platform reinforce each other.

  • Organizational sensitivity: Together with the online team, you promote HUMAN's online vision. You know how to get people on board with ideas, switch easily between different editorial teams and understand how to come together to achieve the best online content.
