As a logistics worker, you will be active in our distribution center at the Poortcamp location. You play a crucial role in the efficient processing and distribution of our carefully cultivated plant products to customers throughout Europe. In this versatile role, you operate advanced systems, proactively solve problems, and contribute ideas for process improvements. Your flexibility, technical insight, and communication skills are essential in our dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.

As an operational logistics worker, you are the all-rounder in all physical distribution activities at the  Poortcamp location. In our modern distribution center, we process carefully cultivated greenhouse products, with the aim of delivering them to our customers throughout Europe as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Daily processing of plant products via the automated order picking system
• Monitoring progress and stepping in as necessary to resolve malfunctions
• Possible handling of goods that cannot be processed in the order picking system
• Administrative preparation of orders and ensuring a smooth handover to drivers
• You think about possibilities for improvement in the process from a LEAN perspective and proactively propose them.

You will be working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same and where the ability to switch quickly and solve problems is essential.

We are looking for a motivated and eager-to-learn candidate who feels at home in a dynamic production environment. You are someone who can function well both independently and as part of a team.

Additionally, we find it important that you:

• Have at least 2-3 years of experience in a production environment; experience in the seed sector is a plus
• Have completed a relevant MBO education or have a comparable level of work and thinking
• Have the ability and interest to operate automated systems
• Are flexible and willing to work on weekends (for this, you will receive a fixed day off during the week)
• Are stress-resistant and result-oriented
• Can communicate well and collaborate with colleagues
• But are also able to be in contact with, among others, production partners, transporters, and suppliers in both Dutch and English.
