• Experience in a logistics/warehouse environment
• Experience with a logistics management system (WMS, SAP or similar)
• Forklift certificate and/or reach truck certificate
• Affinity with automation and digitalization

• A salary between € 2,711 and € 3,342 gross per month based on 38 hours per week (salary scale Orba C, Collective Labour Agreement for Garden Seed Companies)

The Order Fulfillment department at Syngenta Seeds is looking for a motivated candidate for the following full-time position:

At Syngenta Enkhuizen, everything revolves around precision, quality, and timeliness. As a Logistics Assistant, Order Fulfillment you are an essential link in our global seed operation. You ensure that high-quality seeds arrive at farmers all over the world on time and in full.
And you aren't just doing this any old way: you are part of a major transformation. A new fully automated warehouse, the transition to SAP S/4HANA and an advanced WMS system – you are there from day one. This is no standard operator role. This is working on the logistics of tomorrow, with all the development and growth opportunities that come with it.

As an Operator, you will work in a dedicated team of 17 colleagues and report to the Order Fulfillment Team Leader. Your duties are diverse and crucial to our operation:

• Processing order input from various departments of the plant (internal and external)
• Picking & Packing orders for worldwide shipment
• Shipping shipments to customers worldwide
• Working with the KARDEX automated storage system
• Working with RF scanners/handheld terminals for inventory registration
• Location management: reweighing and confirming stock
• Returning products via Bin verification (manual packing)
• Optimizing location capacity
• Reducing pre-packed and bulk lots
• Contributing to the implementation of the new warehouse
• Training and working with SAP S/4HANA and WMS
• Actively thinking along regarding process improvements
• Growing in new digital ways of working
