Why working at Stedin gives you energy:
You will receive good employment conditions and, after a successful year, a permanent contract so that you know where you stand.

Work to be proud of
As a (First-class) High Voltage Substation Technician, you and your colleagues ensure that our Stedin and Tennet installations at the high voltage substations continue to work well. You also resolve faults and perform measurements and inspections to prevent future malfunctions. In this way, you ensure a reliable high-voltage grid that entire cities run on and you contribute directly to a reliable energy supply.
A day as a (First-class) High Voltage Substation Technician:
In the morning, you step into your own van with the best tools and drive to the high voltage substation in the Utrecht region.
Together with your shift, you work on the maintenance or the resolution of faults in installations at high voltage substations.
During the day, you are physically busy with maintaining, inspecting, and performing measurements on HV components such as circuit breakers, power transformers, measuring transformers, and auxiliary voltage installations.
In between, you coordinate with your colleagues regarding progress and planning, so that the work proceeds safely and smoothly.
At the end of the day, you tidy up the workplace, ensure your materials are in order, and drive back home with a sense of satisfaction.
Here is how you recharge
All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know immediately where you stand:
A salary of up to € 4,302 gross per month if you work 40 hours.
A personal budget of 24% on top of your salary (incl. holiday allowance). That means a maximum of € 1,032 extra salary or up to 35.5 extra vacation days. You can see how it works in our calculator.
€ 80 net field allowance per month. This is how we ensure you also have a nice cup of coffee during your work!
On top of that, there is this:
An on-call and fault service allowance of € 438.08 gross for a full on-call week, on top of the compensation you receive for your overtime during this on-call period. You can have this paid out or convert it into leave.

Annually € 700 (gross) to spend on your own energy, for example for your sports membership, new football boots, or for making your home more sustainable.
With these qualities, you will grow here
