The role

As a First-class Electrical Technician at Stedin, you ensure that the electricity grid remains reliable for both private customers and business clients. The energy transition is causing an increasingly heavily loaded grid due to, among other things, solar panels, charging stations, and growing business activity. You ensure the grid is ready for this and intervene when necessary.

Within the Maintenance chain, you will focus on preventing and resolving faults in the electricity grid. You will also perform maintenance on low-voltage and medium-voltage cabinets. When working the fault service, you will go out—including in the evenings, at night, or on weekends—to restore power to customers as quickly as possible.
A day as a first electrical technician:
The workday starts from one of our locations in South Holland, in the vicinity of The Hague.
Together with colleagues, a safe and correct execution of the work is ensured.
Within the team, the planning and safety agreements are reviewed.
Performing maintenance, resolving faults, and contributing to business projects are part of the daily activities.
Contact with customers is central, whereby it is clearly explained what is going to happen.
Here is how you recharge
All financial employment conditions at a glance, so you know where you stand:
A salary of up to € 4,302 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week.
A personal budget of 24% on top of your salary (incl. holiday allowance), good for extra salary or extra leave days.
€ 80 net field allowance per month.
An on-call and disturbance allowance of € 438.08 gross for a full on-call week, on top of the compensation you naturally receive for your overtime during this on-call period. You can also have this paid out or convert it into leave.
On top of that, there is this:
A personal company van with modern tools.
Annually € 700 (gross) for your own energy, for example for sports or vitality.
Plenty of development and growth opportunities, for example towards technical specialist or supervisor.

An MBO education level 3 or 4 in electrical engineering.
A VP/AVP LS/MS designation (or the willingness to obtain this).
