Do you want to contribute to an innovative solution for healthy and sustainable nutrition in the hospital?
As a hospital, we are fully engaged in the transition towards healthy, sustainable, and future-proof nutrition. In doing so, a lot of data and information is collected in various places. Think, for example, of sustainable procurement, food waste, CO₂ emissions from food, and the amount of high-quality proteins within the protein transition.
At this moment, this information is scattered across various systems and applications. Think of our own kitchen, suppliers, and nutrition applications. We are therefore looking for a way to bring this information together clearly in one central dashboard.
During your internship, you will investigate how we can gain insight into our performance and developments in the field of healthy and sustainable nutrition.
In phase 1, you will:
map out the needs, requirements, and wishes of various users and stakeholders;
draft a Program of Requirements (PoR) containing both functional and technical requirements;
investigate which existing systems and tools are available;
compare whether it is better to link existing systems together or to develop a new dashboard tool;
translate your findings into a concrete and substantiated advice.
In doing this, you will work together with various stakeholders within and outside the hospital. This gives you the opportunity not only to conduct research but also to actually contribute ideas for a practical and innovative solution.
In phase 2, based on your advice, we want to take the next step towards the design, development, or implementation of the solution.
You will conclude your internship with a usable and substantiated advice that the hospital can actually use to move forward.
