The role

Help dairy and beverage producers make their production processes safer, smarter, and more sustainable

Do you get energy from collaborating with people, building strong relationships, and finding solutions that truly make a difference? Do you have a background in the food industry and want to use your technical knowledge to help customers further?

At Diversey, you will work together with leading dairy and beverage producers on safer, more efficient, and more sustainable production processes. You will build long-term customer relationships, think along with challenges, and help customers continuously improve their processes.

You combine technical knowledge, customer contact, and commercial development. In doing so, you are not only a discussion partner at the table, but also regularly present on the production floor, where you perform measurements and look for improvements together with customers.

About Diversey

Diversey, part of Solenis, supports producers in the food and beverage industry with cleaning and disinfection solutions, technical expertise, and improvement programs in the areas of food safety and operational performance.

Together, Diversey and Solenis offer a wide portfolio of solutions for, among others, CIP systems, membrane filtration, water treatment, and water management. We help customers reduce their consumption of water, energy, and chemicals and make their production processes more sustainable.

What will you do?

You are a trusted partner for your customers and work together with them on solutions that add long-term value.

  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships within the Beverage & Dairy sector.
  • Managing and further developing your own customer portfolio.
  • Advising on hygiene, cleaning, and production processes.
  • Performing analyses and measurements on-site to provide customers with insight into their CIP, filtration, and cleaning processes.
  • Guiding optimization and sustainability projects.
  • Collaborating with technical specialists, nationally and internationally, to develop suitable solutions.
  • Identifying commercial opportunities and contributing to revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
  • Recording customer activities in Salesforce.

No two days are the same. One day you are discussing a sustainability project with management, the next day you are working together with operators and technicians on improvements on the production floor.

Who are you?

You enjoy working with people, are curious, and like searching for solutions together. You can translate technical knowledge into practical advice and build relationships easily.

Your background could be in, for example, Account Management, Business Development, Process Technology, Food Technology, Product Development, QA/QC, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Additionally:

  • You have a higher professional (HBO) or university (WO) education in, for example, Food Technology, Process Technology, Chemical Technology, Environmental Technology, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • You speak Dutch and English.
  • You are a strong communicator, entrepreneurial, and collegial.
  • You like to take initiative and enjoy working together towards shared results.
  • You have a driver's license (category B).

Do you have experience in sales?

Experience in sales is a plus, but certainly not a requirement. Perhaps you have a technical background as a Process Technologist, Food Technologist, or QA Specialist and want to take a next step towards a more customer-oriented and commercial role.

What is especially important is that you enjoy working with customers, understand their needs, build trust, and know how to translate your technical knowledge into suitable solutions and commercial opportunities.

You will be given the space and support to further develop your commercial skills.

What do we offer?

  • An independent position with a lot of freedom, trust, and responsibility.
  • A market-competitive salary with a bonus plan of up to 20% of your annual salary.
  • Lease car, laptop, and mobile phone.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Annual Christmas bonus of €750.
  • Hybrid working from home, at customers, and at our office in Breukelen.
  • Ample development and training opportunities.
  • An open, collegial working environment in which collaboration, knowledge sharing, and different perspectives are valued.

Are you doubting whether you meet all the requirements?

That doesn't have to be a barrier!

You do not need to meet all the requirements to be successful with us. Do you recognize yourself in a large part of this role and do you get excited by the possibilities? Then we heartily encourage you to apply.

We are especially curious about your experience, ideas, curiosity, and motivation. Different backgrounds and perspectives make our team stronger.
