Do you know better than anyone how to install, commission, and maintain distribution systems and other medium voltage installations? Are you the technician who independently plans their work while simultaneously keeping an eye on the bigger picture? Then the position of Medium Voltage Technician at Privatis is perfect for you!

As a Medium Voltage Technician, you will help build distribution networks for industrial clients and sustainable generation, charging, and storage systems. You are responsible for the installation of customer-specific and often complex medium voltage installations up to 24 kV. In addition to installation, you are also responsible for testing and commissioning these installations. Your base of operations is Oldenzaal and you primarily operate in the eastern part of the country. It may also occur that projects are located further afield in the country.

Management and service of the aforementioned systems also fall within your package of tasks. Through maintenance, visual inspections, and measurements, you ensure reliable medium voltage installations for our customers. On-call services are negotiable and can be part of the role.

Projects that one after another demand craftsmanship and an eye for detail. Within the frameworks provided by your supervisor and the client, you determine your own approach and planning. You proactively signal potential problems or challenges and contribute appropriate solutions based on your knowledge and experience. In doing so, you work closely with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers.

Do you not recognize yourself in everything stated above, but do you have the motivation and the will to grow in this profession? Then we still cordially invite you to apply. At Siers, we believe that craftsmanship develops over time, and we like to invest in people who have the right attitude, even if their knowledge and experience are not yet complete.

Since 1964, our colleagues have been working hard every day to ensure that your house is warm in the winter, water flows from the tap, the lights are on in the evening, and you can work with a fast internet connection. Siers offers total solutions in the fields of heat, water, energy, and telecom. We are a stable and healthy employer with a mission to provide the Netherlands with sustainable and reliable underground infrastructures.

You will come to work at Privatis, a subsidiary of the Siers Group. Privatis specializes within the privatized part of the medium and high voltage grid. Where the activities of the grid operators end, the specialists of Privatis take over. Additionally, Privatis is also active in the field of large-scale energy storage, fast-charging stations, and PV installations.

Privatis designs, realizes, and manages electrotechnical installations and systems for industrial and energy customers. Additionally, Privatis realizes multidisciplinary projects, where activities in the fields of civil engineering, electrical engineering, as well as grounding and lightning protection work, are carried out by us.

You can count on it; when you come to work at Siers, you become part of a family of professionals. This means that you look out for one another and take care of each other. Within our company, there is plenty of room to grow and develop yourself. This contributes to our collective success.

Above all, happiness at work is central, with a good balance between work and private life. We provide a pleasant working atmosphere, with regularly organized department outings, staff parties, summer holiday and Christmas drinks, and other activities. Fun is, after all, what connects our family; we call that: WerkpleSiers. #WerkpleSiers

We are not the most fun family business in underground infra for nothing!
