Security Operations Manager

For a large international high-tech client with a large datacenter in Eemshaven, Securitas is looking for a security operations manager. At this location, high-risk security and strict procedures are of the utmost importance. Naturally, you will have access to advanced tools to ensure that high level of security at all times.

In operations, you are responsible for the daily management of a large group of security officers (approx. 150) and a number of supervisors on-site, as well as coordinating special projects. In this, you know how to flawlessly find the balance between what your team needs and maximizing potential.

As your primary task, you will be occupied with executing and optimizing the client's security policy as effectively as possible. You work closely with the site security manager, to whom you report, but whom you can also replace in their absence. Additionally, you also support the implementation of new security systems and processes, policies, and procedures as indicated by the client.

Personnel care, such as performance reviews and absenteeism management for your team, lies primarily with the security team coach, but naturally, you have a short line of communication regarding the development of the team. After all, it is in your best interest to get the maximum out of the team and to pick up signals in a timely manner to prevent absenteeism and turnover.

It is therefore essential that you are someone who stands firm in your shoes, a true people manager on one hand, and truly focused on the client's processes and the quality improvements that can potentially be made on the other. You are someone who is clear in communication, can easily switch between different levels, and can bring worlds together. You are not easily thrown off balance, you think in terms of possibilities, and you set your priorities the right way. You can switch quickly and easily between ad-hoc matters and long-term goals. • HBO (Higher Professional Education) level of work and thinking,
• Experience in the security industry,
• You are available 24/7 for evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Willing to work in Eemshaven and Winschoten
• Demonstrable experience in managing a large team,
• Experience with optimizing and implementing (security) processes,
• In possession of a driver's license,
• Fluent command of the Dutch and English languages (must)
• You live within a radius of +/- 60 km of Eemshaven
