Business Controller

As a Business Controller at Securitas, you ensure that our commercial and operational teams can achieve maximum results. You advise on commercial, financial, and strategic matters to optimize business results.

The focus lies on the execution and support of closing, budget, and forecast processes, as well as various sales trajectories. Ensuring the established governance frameworks and preparing national and international reports regarding business results also play a very important role in the position. A part of our (international) proposition is to become even more data-driven.

A selection of your duties

• You are the watchful eye, providing analyses and advice that colleagues from all levels can act upon immediately.
• You provide departments with the right steering information regarding strategic and commercial issues.
• You contribute ideas to the further development of (financial) BI reports.
• We are also undergoing a major transformation towards a European data platform, where it is important for Business Control to safeguard the current and future reporting needs of the operational teams.

Collaborating?
As a Business Controller, you are the link between the commercial and operational teams and the finance department.
You will come to work with us in a small team with a broad responsibility for multiple business lines. We work in an international environment when it comes to various reports, so in this role, you can also contribute to international developments.

Naturally, you have a great passion for numbers. You prepare reports, but you also collect commercial data and use it to engage in dialogue with the business. You dare to be critical and to challenge your colleagues with relevant questions. You have commercial affinity and can therefore think along with certain commercial choices. You are a communicative financial professional who can adapt well and position yourself within an informal organizational culture.
