Pay & benefits

What you'll get

  • Plenty of substantive freedom: you have influence over approach, concept, and quality.
  • Variety in assignments and clients, with a team that loves to build together.
  • Market-conform salary (depending on experience) + good secondary conditions (including laptop, phone, and sports allowance).
  • Attention to development: professional growth, knowledge sharing, and space to experiment.
  • And yes: we find fun important. Sports, parties, workations, ski trips, pub quizzes… and every week Fry-day.

The role

You will join a company full of creative, unique, and cheerful inBrainers. We work multidisciplinarily with instructional designers, digital designers, project managers, and software engineers. For over 20 years, we have been creating digital learning solutions for diverse clients — from ministries to KLM and from safety regions to MAERSK.

From learning needs to learning solutions that truly work.

Yes, it's great that you want to know more! Do you have experience as an instructional designer (or learning consultant) and do you get energy from digital learning solutions? Then we are looking for you. At inBrain, we create learning experiences that have impact: substantively strong, creatively executed, and fitting for the target group's practice.

As a Digital Learning Specialist (medior/senior), you take substantive ownership: you sharpen the brief, establish a learning strategy, and translate this into concrete designs and products. You work together with designers, project managers, and software engineers, and you are a strong partner for the client.

What you'll do

You help organizations with learning and development questions by translating them into smart, appropriate solutions: e-learning, blended journeys, learning campaigns, microlearning, performance support, and sometimes advisory trajectories. You ensure that it is didactically sound and that it lands in practice. As a medior, you run (complex) projects independently. Are you a senior? Then we expect you to also lead strategic advisory trajectories, tackle complex client questions, and/or coach juniors in their development.

  • You analyze the learning need: target group, context, performance gap, constraints, and success criteria.
  • You develop a learning strategy and substantiate choices (format, didactics, interaction, tone of voice).
  • You facilitate work sessions with subject matter experts and stakeholders and bring structure to complex input.
  • You create (or direct the creation of) didactic designs and storyboards and work closely with our design team.
  • You monitor didactic quality during development (review rounds, testing, iterating).
  • You advise clients on implementation and safeguarding: what is needed to truly change behavior/knowledge?
  • You actively share knowledge within the team and think along about approaches, standards, and trends.
