What we're looking for

You have completed a technical higher professional education (HBO) degree, for example in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Technical Informatics, or a similar field.
You have at least 8 years of experience within industrial automation and OT, combined with experience in a lead or supervisory role.
You possess strong technical knowledge of industrial systems and are able to provide technical direction to engineers and projects.
You have extensive technical knowledge at the PLC and SCADA level (Proleit Brewmaxx experience is a plus) and can also manage adjacent systems such as servers, networks, workstations, databases, and MES.
You understand the OT mindset: working in a production-critical environment where continuity, safety, and reliability always come first.
You communicate easily at different levels: from middle management to operator.
You are pragmatic, decisive, and maintain an overview in a dynamic production environment.

The role

Royal Swinkels is growing rapidly alongside digital technology. Our breweries and production sites are being continuously developed and professionalized. In this process, Operational Technology (OT) plays a crucial role.

As Team Lead Local OT, you are the working foreman of the team that keeps the OT systems in our brewery and bottling plant in Lieshout stable and future-proof. In this role, you combine technical leadership with organizational skills.

What you'll do

You ensure that the OT systems within the brewery, bottling plant, and utilities remain stable, safe, and future-proof.
You take the lead on technical issues, design choices, projects, and complex malfunctions.
You lead a team of OT Engineers and are responsible for their development, effectiveness, and job satisfaction.
You are responsible for the daily organization, processes, and the budget of the local OT team.
You contribute to the development of the broader OT strategy and OT organization.
You are willing to participate in a 24/7 on-call roster (with appropriate compensation) if necessary.
