What we're looking for

You have a completed HBO or WO degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Food Technology, supplemented by at least 5 years of relevant work experience within the quality domain, preferably in the food industry.
You have demonstrable experience in leading a team of professionals and are strong in coaching, motivating, and developing employees.
You are a strong and inspiring personality with an eye for quality, strong persuasive powers, and a result-oriented approach.
You know how to effectively manage processes, analyses, and improvement initiatives and, with your vision, actively contribute to the further development of Quality Control within Royal Swinkels.
You have an affinity with modern brewery and malting laboratory techniques and extensive experience with chemical and chromatographic analyses.

The role

For our central laboratory, we are looking for a Manager Quality Control. In this key role, together with your team, you will ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards daily and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.

What you'll do

As Manager Quality Control, you are responsible for the operational management of the laboratory. You ensure an efficient and high-quality execution of all activities within the Quality Control department.
You ensure a reliable and efficient flow of activities within Quality Control, so that analyses, data, and advice are available in a timely manner for production, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
Together with the head analysts, you lead a team of approximately 20 employees, consisting of laboratory technicians and analysts. Additionally, you are part of the QA Management Team.
You actively contribute to improvements in the areas of safety, reliability, and cost and lead-time reduction within the laboratory.
You hold ultimate responsibility for the timely and correct delivery of analysis results for the release of incoming goods and packaged end products.
