- When a malfunction occurs, you ensure that it is processed correctly in our maintenance management system, so that the correct contractor is enabled to resolve the disruption.
- In this team, you are the first (telephone) point of contact 24/7 and are therefore not only the calling card for Asset Management but also a very important link in the primary malfunction process.
- From traveler to employee: we find it very important that everyone feels safe, valued, and welcome at Schiphol.
Connecting your world
As a Technical Agent, you are responsible for the correct reception and recording of technical malfunctions (for example, an escalator breaking down). You do this for almost all assets at Schiphol. How you ensure this? That is up to you. We rely on the way in which you can work with concentration and attention. You will apply your talents to:
- being the point of contact for reporters and stakeholders of malfunctions/incidents.
- receiving malfunction reports from various parties.
- first time right escalation of malfunctions/incidents to the main contractor.
- monitoring various systems and, if necessary, acting on deviations through monitoring & control.
- ensuring continuity by activating assets remotely or initiating appropriate actions.
- (pro)actively providing feedback/status updates to reporters and stakeholders.
You will be working in the Technical Operations department. We are responsible for handling malfunctions of the assets at Schiphol. Within malfunction handling, we work 24/7 to receive reports as effectively as possible and escalate them to the main contractors. Furthermore, we ensure that all assets are operational to positively influence the passenger experience.
