Center of Excellence Intern

• Field of study: a relevant university degree (example: (technical) business administration, (business) economics, public administration, and information and data-related studies.

• € 450.00 gross monthly allowance, based on a 40-hour per week internship.
• An allowance for commuting costs if you do not have a student travel product.

• Period: from February 2027.
• Number of days per week: 4 days per week.
• Level: university level.

• Of course, you will receive excellent guidance. Think of weekly alignment meetings with your mentor and daily check-ins for guidance and support.

What will you do as a Center of Excellence Intern? You will apply your talents to the:

• support of strategy implementation that moves the organization forward, such as improvements in project control, decision-making processes, or strengthening project work within the infra chain.
• gaining experience and insight into effectively involving (senior) stakeholders, including MT members and management. You observe, learn, and move smoothly between interests, dynamics, and levels.

The Center of Excellence consists of Strategic Advisors who are responsible for organizational design, chain optimization, and transformation issues within the organization. Together, we bring structure to complex tasks, improve decision-making, and ensure that strategic choices lead to measurable results. As an intern, you will simultaneously support various trajectories.

At Schiphol Infrastructure, we design, build, and manage all physical and digital assets of Schiphol. That is our contribution to Schiphol's ambition to be a high-quality and sustainable airport. With more than 800 colleagues, together with our chain partners, we will deliver more projects in the coming years and catch up on maintenance backlogs. In this way, we improve working conditions through the use of robots and lifting aids, we electrify assets on the airside, and we renew and make crucial parts such as the C-pier, baggage cellar, and climate systems more sustainable. At the same time, we resolve malfunctions and make thoughtful investment choices to prepare our infrastructure for the future.
