Passenger Assistant Intern

• As a Passenger Assistant Intern, you will work together with the other Passenger Assistants to ensure a safe and smooth passenger process at Schiphol.
• Of course, you will receive excellent guidance. Think of daily guidance from your mentor, combined with practical and directly applicable (hands-on) tips.
• With 500 Passenger Assistants and 44 Floormanagers, you and your colleagues form one of the most diverse and largest teams at Schiphol.

What will you do as a Passenger Assistant Intern? You will apply your talents at the:

• assisting with guiding passenger flows in the terminal.
• shadowing and supporting BHV (Emergency Response) tasks and incidents.
• speaking to passengers under supervision and passing on questions.
• contributing to a safe, service-oriented terminal experience.

From the moment a passenger leaves home until the moment the aircraft takes off: we ensure a pleasant and safe departure for all passengers. In close cooperation with you, approximately 1,100 other colleagues, 140 airlines, and various ground handlers, we streamline processes from A to Z. For example, we ensure that a colleague is ready to assist persons with reduced mobility, from the parking lot to the gate. And that there are enough baggage belts available. Also during (un)planned works and delays. Together, we work every day on a robust department with a responsible and reliable airport process.

• € 350.00 gross per month allowance, based on a 40-hour per week internship.
• An allowance for commuting costs if you do not have a student travel product.

• Period: from February 2027.
• Number of days per week: 4 days per week.
• Lives near Schiphol due to early and late shifts.
• Level: mbo level
• Field of study: Airport Operations / Aviation Services and Service & Safety Manager.
