This is what you get:
The very best deal! A key position within an entrepreneurial organization in which you have direct influence on the visibility and further development of four of our brands. We welcome you with open arms into a close-knit and convivial team, where you will contribute together with your colleagues to our mission: a carefree trip for the best price!
A salary that matches your experience and responsibilities;
25 vacation days (for full-time) and 8% holiday allowance;
A good pension scheme via Nationale Nederlanden;
Discounts on your own holidays and Friends & Family discounts to give away;
Company car;
A modern workplace in the bustling heart of 's-Hertogenbosch;
Office gym, a handy bicycle plan, and collective discount at CZ;
Sociability guaranteed with our legendary Friday afternoon drinks, and Bossche Bollen if there is something to celebrate;
Fun sporting activities, such as the monthly Prijsvrij Padel Tournament and the annual Vestingloop.
Four brands, each with its own identity, target audience, and market position. As Brand Director, you determine how we further strengthen and make our brands visible. You are responsible for the strategy surrounding our offline marketing and brand activations and translate these into creative concepts that make an impact.
From a partnership with Feyenoord or FC Twente to collaborations with brand influencers and large hero campaigns: you see where the opportunities lie and know how to convert them into strong brand activations. In doing so, you liaise directly with the MT regarding brand strategy and larger campaigns.
You combine strategic and conceptual thinking with a hands-on mentality. You determine the direction, bring the right people together, and subsequently ensure that plans actually come to life.
Check(-in), but what exactly will you be doing?
As Brand Director, you are responsible for the strategy surrounding our offline marketing and brand activations. You safeguard the positioning and appearance of Prijsvrij Vakanties and D-reizen and ensure that our brands come across as recognizable and distinctive.
In addition, you work closely with Design, Online Marketing, and other involved departments. You safeguard the big picture, ensure that all parts come together, and manage involved colleagues and external parties regarding progress, quality, and deadlines.
So you are certainly not a Brand Director who only determines the strategy and then hands it over. You stay close to the execution, communicate quickly, and jump in yourself when necessary.
In short: you safeguard the course and ensure it becomes visible. You know when to steer at a strategic level, but are just as willing to roll up your sleeves yourself.
Specifically, you will:
Determining the strategy for our offline marketing and brand activations;
Liaising directly with the MT regarding brand strategy and larger campaigns;
Safeguarding the positioning, appearance, and recognizability of our brands in our marketing communications;
Developing creative concepts for large, company-wide hero campaigns;
Providing strategic and creative direction to partnerships including Feyenoord and FC Twente;
Identifying, developing, and expanding new commercial partnerships and brand activations;
Shaping collaborations with tourism boards and ensuring these are interesting both commercially and from a brand perspective;
Determining the strategy surrounding brand influencers and ambassadors and initiating appropriate collaborations;
Ensuring a strong translation of brand strategy into concrete campaigns and activations;
Working closely with Design, Online Marketing, and other involved teams;
Managing internal and external stakeholders and safeguarding progress, quality, and deadlines;
Evaluating the results of campaigns, activations, and partnerships and using these insights to make future choices;
Getting personally involved in the execution when necessary to move plans forward.
You (are going on holiday and) bring:
You are an experienced marketing professional who effortlessly connects strategy and creativity. You think in brands and concepts, but primarily get energy from the moment a good idea actually becomes visible.
You are a strong interlocutor for the MT and at the same time know how to get various specialists, departments, and external partners on board with your plans. You maintain an overview, safeguard the brand course, and sense well when you need to steer and when you need to jump in yourself.
In addition, you bring:
A completed HBO degree, for example in Marketing, Business, Business Innovation, Sports Marketing, or a similar field;
Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant experience within brand marketing, brand strategy, activation, partnerships, or a similar marketing role;
Experience with developing brand strategies and translating them into creative concepts and campaigns;
Experience with developing and managing large B2C campaigns and brand activations;
Strong commercial and creative insight;
Experience with developing and expanding partnerships;
Affinity with sports marketing, sponsorship, influencers, and brand partnerships;
Experience with managing various internal and external stakeholders;
The ability to maintain an overview of multiple campaigns, activations, and projects simultaneously;
An entrepreneurial and hands-on mentality: you see opportunities, take ownership, and ensure that ideas are actually realized.
