QC Supervisor

For our Quality team in Amersfoort, we are looking for a Quality Control Supervisor. In this role, you will combine technical QC knowledge with leadership and quality assurance. You will play a key role in safeguarding and continuously improving the quality of our processes and products.

What will you do?

As Quality Control Supervisor, you are responsible for the safe and correct execution of analyses on obtained samples. The results thereof are essential for the process and for safeguarding product quality and compliance.

In addition, you will lead the QC laboratory team (approximately 4 FTE) and be responsible for planning, procedures, and budget.

! Your work location - Your ultimate place of work is our laboratory in Zaandam. Because our laboratory in Zaandam is being renovated, you will initially work from our R&D lab in Amersfoort. We expect this temporary situation to last approximately two years. Once the renovation is completed, you will move back to Zaandam together with the team.

• Checking and validating results from standard and specific analyses.
• Acting as a point of contact for more complex issues within the laboratory.
• Leading and coaching the analysts in the lab; you stimulate development and collaboration.
• Drafting and managing the personnel planning for day shifts and other shifts, with an eye for optimal staffing.
• Managing and improving the quality system through, among other things, CAPAs, risk assessments, and training.
• Ensuring that the laboratory complies with applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines, including ISO 22001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, Kosher, Halal, and Kiwa.
• Leading internal audits within the QC laboratory and conducting external audits at suppliers and external parties.
• Responsible for procedures, work instructions, and the QC budget.

• A proactive attitude, a high regard for the principle of "leading by example," and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work with people and to raise the bar a little bit every day.
• Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written.
