The role

Technology in your head. Control in your hands.

Do you know the technology behind mobile cranes, heavy vehicles or complex machinery? Do you get energy from a technical malfunction for which no standard solution exists? And are you ready for a next step in which you combine your technical knowledge with coordination, customer contact and responsibility?

Then we at Liebherr have a great technical challenge for you.

As a Service Process Coordinator, you are an important technical hub within our Technical Service in Amersfoort. You work daily with mobile cranes and the technology that keeps these machines in motion: hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

You no longer have to do the wrenching yourself, but rather you ensure that your technical knowledge is optimally deployed to help our service technicians and customers further.

What you'll do

A mobile crane is stationary due to a complex fault. What is happening technically? What expertise do we need? Which technician can best perform this job? Are the right parts available? Do we need to coordinate with the factory?

From that moment on, you come into the picture.

You analyze the technical issue, think along regarding diagnosis and solution, and subsequently ensure that everything is well organized. Your team schedules the right service technician, arranges parts, and coordinates with suppliers and the factory where necessary. In doing so, you maintain control over the complete service process. You are therefore much more than a planner. You are a technical sparring partner for technicians, customers, and colleagues.

  • Coordinating maintenance, repair, installation, and service activities on mobile cranes;
  • Identifying and analyzing technical faults, possibly together with the service technician, supplier, or factory;
  • Supporting complex technical issues in the fields of hydraulics, mechanics, pneumatics, and electrical engineering;
  • Determining which technicians, parts, tools, and external specialists are required for a job;
  • Planning and deploying service technicians based on technical expertise, urgency, and availability;
  • Monitoring capacity, quality, progress, and lead time of service assignments;
  • Coordinating with customers regarding the technical situation, approach, planning, and progress;
  • Consulting with suppliers and the factory in Germany regarding product problems, diagnoses, technical modifications, and structural solutions;
  • Preparing and monitoring quotes for repairs, damages, and modifications;
  • Coordinating warranty, damage, and insurance files;
  • Identifying recurring faults and opportunities for technical improvement;
  • Improving and further professionalizing our service processes;
  • Ensuring clear work handovers, technical documentation, and information provision within the service team.

For this position, we are looking for someone who combines technical depth with overview, decisiveness, and customer orientation.

  • You are an experienced technical specialist who would like to make the step to a technical advisory and coordinating role.
  • You have a broad technical foundation in hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical engineering. You do not need to be a specialist in every field, but you can thoroughly understand technical connections.
  • You can work and improvise independently, are service-oriented, and have a solution-oriented attitude;
  • You are communicative and customer-friendly and maintain good contact with clients during the work;
  • You work in a structured manner, are focused on sharing information, can prioritize well, and know how to maintain an overview;
