What we're looking for

MBO diploma in logistics or a comparable field with at least 5 years of work experience in production planning.
Or; HBO diploma in logistics or a comparable field.
Good command of the Dutch and English languages, both spoken and written,
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word,
Knowledge and experience with ERP systems (At Norit we work with JD Edwards)
Basic knowledge of logistics and production management theory,
Quality-oriented, customer-oriented, and independent,
Excellent communication skills,
Talent for organizing and planning,
Driven to continuously improve yourself and processes.

Are you a driven and organized professional with a passion for production planning? Then we are looking for you! As a Production Planner, you are responsible for the weekly production planning of our Chemical Post-treatment and Reactivation plants. You draw up deployment plans for semi-finished products and create production orders. Additionally, you work closely with various departments to realize efficient planning and contribute to the optimization of the supply chain.

What you'll do

Developing and executing a production plan in collaboration with the local production department to guarantee sufficient capacity in the short and medium term,
Ensuring optimal inventory and calling off; packaging, raw materials, and production aids.
Coordinating bulk planning and short-term inventory planning in collaboration with sales, transport, and external parties,
Performing work preparation and setting up production orders for chemical post-treatment.
Actively contributing to supply chain improvement projects aimed at the optimization of short-term and long-term planning.
Together with fellow planners and logistics, you ensure the follow-up of sales orders running through our site in Zaandam.
