This job advert was originally written in Dutch.
It happens in Haarlem. In the largest NS workshop, about four hundred colleagues work on maintaining and modernizing trains. You will start working in the In/Out department, the central starting and ending point of our projects. This is where trains arrive for inspection and preparation. After the work is completed, they return here for final checks and commissioning.
You work with a team of approximately twenty colleagues. In addition, you work in a rotating roster, alternating between early and late weeks. So, you work early one week and late the next, within working hours of 07:00 to 23:50. Thanks to your team's commitment, short lines of communication, and good handovers, you can always count on each other.
You have experience as a leader in an operational environment and feel at home in a technical working environment. You maintain an overview, take your team along in changes, and work together with them on a safe and smooth operation.
Working at NS means that you can make *the* difference in the world of sustainable mobility. You are part of an organization that is at the heart of society and keeps the Netherlands moving.
But as one of the largest employers in the Netherlands, we have so much more to offer you. For this position, this includes:
