Buyer (Temporary For 6 Months)

As a Fashion Buyer at My Jewellery, you are responsible for the procurement of our clothing collections. You ensure that selected designs are converted into full-fledged items, under the best commercial terms. From price negotiations to reviewing samples: you monitor the balance between quality, cost, and delivery times.

You communicate daily with international suppliers, primarily in the Far East. You negotiate prices and delivery terms, resolve production issues, and ensure a complete and timely transfer of orders to production. In doing so, you use your product knowledge and commercial insight to achieve the best result for our collections.

You work closely with Product Developers, Fit Technicians, and Production Planners. You are also involved in the lifecycle management of our items and identify opportunities to improve processes.

You will strengthen our procurement team for a period of six months to replace someone on leave. A great opportunity to apply your experience in fashion buying and production within an ambitious e-commerce company.

• You negotiate with international suppliers regarding purchase prices, delivery times, and commercial terms;

• You maintain contact with suppliers worldwide and communicate regarding production issues to find suitable solutions;

• You collaborate with Fit Technicians during fittings of proto samples and translate your feedback into concrete product adjustments, while maintaining the original design;

• You ensure a correct and timely transfer of orders to the Production Controllers;

• You analyze supplier performance based on price, delivery reliability, resale, and margin, and discuss the results;

• You identify opportunities for improvement within the lifecycle management of items and the associated procurement and production processes.

• You possess a higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking;
