Senior Environmental Management Advisor

• You are the point of contact for governments, residents, and project partners and ensure a smooth course for participation and decision-making processes;

• You translate complex environmental issues into clear advice;

• You mentor junior advisors and actively contribute to knowledge sharing and development within the team.

As a Senior Environmental Management Advisor, you will work on a wide range of infrastructural projects: from small-scale access roads to complex rail and infra projects. You are the connecting link between technology and the environment and ensure support among residents, businesses, and governments. You work intensively with clients such as municipalities, provinces, Rijkswaterstaat, and ProRail, using your expertise to integrate societal interests into the project process. Your work makes the difference in projects that shape the Netherlands in a sustainable and future-proof manner.

You are curious and actively investigate what is happening in the environment. Thanks to your strong communication skills, you know how to articulate interests clearly and connect them. You act proactively, respond flexibly to ad-hoc situations, and simultaneously monitor the common thread in complex projects.

You also bring:

· A completed HBO (higher professional education) or WO (university) degree in a relevant field;

· At least 5 years of experience as a (senior) environmental manager;

· Affinity with technology and the ambition to develop yourself in this area.
