Civil Structures Graduation Internship

Expand your knowledge of steel bridges and help us further with current issues regarding fatigue and stability.

Many steel bridges from the 60s and 70s are due for renovation or replacement. In this regard, fatigue and stability are important technical themes. During your graduation internship, you will investigate one of these topics. We will coordinate the precise assignment together. This way, you deepen your technical knowledge and provide knowledge that the team can use for complex bridges and structures.

• Delve into the theory of fatigue and stability of steel bridges.

• Investigate a technical issue that you coordinate with your supervisor.

• Devise and compare solutions for the chosen issue.

• Work out your approach, calculations, results, and conclusions in a clear report.

• Contribute to broadening the knowledge within the department through your research.
