The role

What will you do?

You will provide food and drinks for patients on our nursing wards. You will assist patients in making choices from the menu and oversee compliance with diets. You will also perform various household and administrative tasks, such as maintaining fluid and nutrition charts, and monitor the quality and quantity of the meals. You will implement the hygiene code (HACCP) and will have daily contact with the nursing department in this regard.

As a Dietary Assistant, you are of absolute value within the department. Our patient is your guest, for whom you can make an enormous difference with your smile and a chat. Guest-orientation, hospitality, and service are central to everything you do. You have that in your genes. Our colleague Katerina tells her story about what she finds so fun and challenging about her work as a Dietary Assistant.

What does your work environment look like?

You will join a warm and professional team within the process group of the Facilities Department of the MUMC+. We ensure that healthcare professionals can focus on their work, while we arrange the rest. Our mission: "Our service = your success!"

Within our Catering process group, we work together to take service and the dining experience to a higher level. We are innovative, guest-oriented, and love to roll up our sleeves. As a team, we are there for each other, work closely together, and enjoy what we do.
