Civil Engineering Internship: Work Preparation, Execution, or Estimation

As an intern at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Rotterdam, you will be right in the middle of projects ranging from making existing houses more sustainable to building new residential areas and complete area developments. Your contribution counts, literally and figuratively!

As an intern at Dura Vermeer Bouw en Vastgoed Rotterdam, you will work at our office or on one of our projects. In agreement, we will determine which department or which project best suits you and/or the assignment. During your internship, you will be well supervised by one of our colleagues and given the space to further develop yourself! You will direct the activities yourself by showing responsibility. Together with your supervisor, you determine what your internship period will look like. Your commitment and ideas are decisive for the success of your internship!

At this moment, we have the following internship positions:

• Work Preparation: you ensure that everything is ready on time, from materials to drawings, so that the project runs smoothly.

• Site Management: on the construction site, you assist in the daily management of the project. You supervise and ensure that everything is executed according to plan.

• Estimation: you contribute to accurate budgets, clear cost overviews, and sharp risk analyses; these form the basis for successful projects.

Clearly indicate in your motivation letter which field you wish to do your internship in.

• You are pursuing an mbo4, hbo, or wo education, in the direction of civil engineering, construction management, built environment, or something similar;

• You are available for at least 4 days per week starting from February

• You are proactive and eager to learn. You let us know what you want to learn and dare to ask questions;

• You are flexible, can deal with changes, and work in an organized manner;

• You are enrolled in an educational program for the entire duration of the internship.
