Apprentice Car Body Repairer – BBL

Perhaps you are already following a training program in damage repair, but perhaps you are currently working as a car mechanic, tinkering with scooters in your free time, or you simply enjoy being technically active. Whatever your background may be: at Louwman Autoschade in Tilburg, you will get the chance to learn the profession of car body repairer.

Together with experienced colleagues, you will discover how to repair car damage and build your technical knowledge and skills step by step. This can be done via a BBL (work-study) program, where you combine working and learning. Have you not yet chosen a training program or do you have no experience in the damage repair industry? Even then, we would love to talk to you.

We find your motivation and technical interest more important than your level of education. We are happy to help you further develop yourself into a true professional!

As an apprentice car body repairer, you will learn the trade in practice. You will work together with experienced colleagues who will guide you and teach you the tricks of the trade. This way, you will discover more and more and receive the space to work independently.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Repairing damaged cars and parts.

• Disassembling and assembling vehicle parts.

• Preparing cars for repairs and learning to work with various tools.

• Discovering different repair techniques and materials.

• Checking your work, so that the car can safely and neatly return to the road.

• Following a suitable training program or course to further develop your knowledge and skills.

You don't need to know everything yet. You will learn the trade step by step, with good guidance from your colleagues. As you gain more experience, you will also receive more responsibilities.

We are primarily looking for someone who enjoys working with technology and likes learning new things. Experience in car body repair is a plus, but certainly not a requirement.

Furthermore:

• You have an interest in cars, technology, and tinkering.

• You enjoy working with your hands and like repairing things.

• You are motivated to learn a new trade and develop yourself.

• You work accurately and have an eye for quality.

• You can collaborate well and are open to guidance and feedback.

Even if you are not yet following a training program in the direction of damage repair, we are happy to look together at the possibilities to start working with us and potentially starting a BBL trajectory.

What can you expect from us?

• Salary based on 38 hours, matching your experience.

• Choice at 40 hours: accrue 2 hours of ADV (reduction of working hours) or have them paid out.

  • Full-time means 104 ADV hours per year.

• 25 vacation days, with the possibility to purchase 2 additional weeks.

• 8% holiday allowance, paid monthly.

• Pension via BPF Metaal & Techniek.

  • Louwman pays 17.7% of the pension premium and you pay 10.28%.

• Travel allowance:

  • € 0.23 per kilometer by car.

  • € 0.30 per kilometer by bicycle.

• Staff discount on, among other things, cars, leasing, bicycles, and water sports.

• Collective insurance with discounts.

• Training and courses via our digital learning environment.

• A referral bonus of up to € 1,250 net via the Tip de Topper program.

Louwman Autoschade is involved in damage repair at six locations. Small or large, we repair our customer's car to look like new again. We are certified in the damage repair of the following brands: Toyota, Suzuki, Lexus, Kia, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, and Opel.
