Requirements

A completed training as a bicycle technician and/or demonstrable experience as a bicycle mechanic
Nice to have
Experience as a first mechanic or head mechanic is a plus

Salary €3,431.- to €3,865.- gross (40 hours, depending on experience, CAO)
24 vacation days (full-time) + 8% holiday allowance paid out monthly

The role
Fietsvoordeelshop.nl is growing fast. Therefore, for our store in Zoetermeer we are looking for an experienced Head Mechanic who maintains an overview in the workshop and likes to take the lead. Someone who is not only technically strong, but also helps colleagues further and thinks along about how things can be better every day.
What you'll do
What will you do?
As Head Mechanic, you are the main point of contact in the workshop. You ensure that everything runs smoothly and that customers leave the door safely and satisfied. Your duties include:
Performing maintenance and repairs on all types of bicycles, from e-bikes to city and children's bikes
Providing customers with explanations regarding the work performed
Preparing new bicycles for use and equipping them with accessories
Planning the activities in the workshop
Guiding (new) mechanics and ensuring that everyone works with the right materials
Thinking along about improvements and discussing these with the Branch Manager
You will receive a lot of freedom in your role and have a direct influence on the quality of our work and customer satisfaction.
